Hi... I have a question ^^
So, these friends can transform at will... Could they also, then, change into the opposite sex if/when they wanted to? I'm guessing since they're made of fog they're born genderless anyway, please correct me if I'm wrong. Also, am I right in thinking that they can switch from a humanoid form to an animal form too? And if either of these is wrong, will I have to buy another friend?

Although it is rare to see them actually do this, Fog Friends can shape shift
and yeah they're genderless, the only thing that determines their gender is whatever gender their partner preferres
so if their partner likes a gender changing species shifting kind of Fog Friend then yes, a Fog Friend can be all these things (:

So two questions.
A. Can someone make more than one?
B. What happens when they loose the person who made them? Like... when the person who opened the jar dies, or forgets about them for whatever reason.
Also They're wonderful so far.

A. Yes, one person can make two Fog Friends if they have two jars. The two friends will look very similar to each other, if not exactly the same, especially if they are both made in a close time frame.
B. If the owner somehow forgets about the Fog Friend, it will try really hard to gain access to its partner. It can still read its partner’s memories even if the partner is really far away, which helps them find out the location. In the case that the partner dies or doesn’t exist anymore for some reason, the Fog Friend will be stuck in limbo and will still try to be as close to its partner as possible, even if the partner is dead and/or is gone forever. It is possible to bring the Fog Friend out of limbo, however it is extremely difficult and it requires a lot of people to convince the Fog Friend to leave their partner behind. Most people don’t even try, and a quick solution to getting rid of the lonely Fog Friend is to use a reverse jar (I will make a sheet about it and other items) to suck it back in so that it can be reused for someone else in the future.
