Description
This is Rootie the root beer dinky. His diet is only soda and ice cream so don't ask him about what his favorite fruit is, he doesn't know. His foamy head has been carefully styled and trimmed to resemble hair and a collar. He is much lighter on liquid than most dinkies, since a good portion of his composition is foamy soda, so he can often be dizzy and clumsy, and he can also be quite forgetful.

Rootie belongs to and is a butler for a producer named Andy Spielman, however the dinkies who live with him just call him Boss. This producer is up an incoming and often uses dinkies in his productions. His company is known as Spielman Productions. These productions include short films, music and music videos, and sometimes his dinkies are featured in TV shows. Rootie is not included as a singer and/or actor in these productions, but he does work behind the scenes, cooking for and dressing up the dinky actors. Is he a good cook? Not really, but you can't complain about free food, can you?

He and Boss have a nice relationship and while Rootie is not paid for his work, he is well taken care of. His room is very luxurious and he owns a variety of cookbooks so that hopefully his cooking skills can improve.
