An experiment with cloud effects on my tablet. This was a rather quickly done piece I did over a few hours. It came out of sheer boredom and wanting to explore more of my tablet's abilities. I can honestly say I don't miss working with my mouse at ALL! I will be updating this one later as I have some ideas for it.Related content

I love the watercolor style. Animators should try it more often, the results are amazing. I mean look at Fantasia 2000, The Carnival of the Animals was just awesome.

I'm afraid I am still learning about drawing clouds..in fact I need an excuse to do more of this. But mayhaps in the future I will have a tutorial. I believe I have a link to a decent cloud painting tutorial somewhere. If I find it I will get it to you

I love the subtlty! So beautiful. Out of curiosity, how did you do the sunbeams? I've been trying to achieve that effect in Photoshop for ages, but with no luck. It's hard to find any tutorials on directional light, too.

I dont recall exactly how I did them..I think I duplicated the cloud layer, moved it underneath the original cloud layer and then I used the motion blur tool to add the sunbeams and kinda messed around with the color, brightness, contrast, hue to get it just the way I wanted to

aw that's amazing, so beautiful... it makes my heart ache. i went to france for the last two weeks and they had these gorgeous sunsets, this reminds me of that, it's perfect and only you could draw such a pretty pic T.T so things are working out good with the tablet

I've always admired how you incorporate so many colors in one piece, and you've certainly out done yourself here. The overall effect of the piece is flabbergasting and absolutely stunning. I especially love how you didn't shade with black, but varying shades of purple. Just...wow, *__*

Sharp Balaa. Very Sharp. This is exactly the kind of opening shot a TLK movie looks for, needs and wants. Soft colors, pastel mornings, pastel evenings (works for closing shots too) that just gives the picture a touch of "soft reality" before it goes into Cell shading overtime.
Now if they could make the entire film out of these, and drop the cheesy musical sound track....
Oh, sorry, anyway, SHARP picture, and not like cheddar.
