I like the idea of things being cyclical...
made with super sculpey
colours enhanced in photoshop
I had trouble deciding on the title. I went through a few;
- Suffer the little children to come unto Me
- Gently Weeps (Beatles reference...)
- Cain and Abel
I decided on calling it "Infected" as a reference to a term I hear being used quite often in science fiction movies to describe non-humans or the diseased. Although either of those Biblical titles would have been great too.

I saw this on my sisters page and had to have a closer look.
omg how the hell does one think up such an idea O_O my mouth actually gaped when I saw this.
This is totally sculpture? There isn't any like animal parts fused ie the ribcage?
I find it such a shocking image, now that's good in the sense it makes you stop,look and think, its not like the sort of image you'd just pass by is it.

I've gotten to the point in my life where I'm creating
more personal work, and I do appreciate the fact that
you mentioned you had to stop, look, and think, because
I want my pieces to have a purpose of existence. You
being unable to 'pass it by' without having to stop
and think, and take notice means validation for me...
The entire piece was hand sculpted by me...
...no animal parts were used. I would mention that in
my statement if I did, but adding animal parts is something
I might consider doing in the future. It may add unexpected
results that I've yet to imagine.

This right her has disturbed me on so many different levels. In a mildly twisted way this is adorable. I will have nightmares someday about this, but I love. It. I want to hug it then disinfect myself. (In case my ramblings haven't made sense, I truly do love this. Beautiful and thought provoking.
