Thanks, and yeah, people tell me whenever I interpret someone else's character designs for some reason they come out looking "older" and more realistic/"handsome".
Plus, as irresistibly cute and appropriate as the character designs are in the show, it's so stylized I figure that's not at all what they "really" look like, and there are a million interpretations in between that it's interesting and fun to explore.

I imagine they'd have a ton of game shows, and some of those old-timey action serials.
Speaking of which, I wouldn't be surprised if they continue the theme and on top of the Equestrian version of Indiana Jones we get a Flash Gordon.

A very nicely-drawn comic. Come to think of it, there any televisions in the show, aren't there? No radios either. I guess the ponies only use the written word (and loud voices) as media.

i think they are about to use the radio. I mean, they have megaphones, cinematography, alert sirens, the hospital where born Pumpkin and Pound (and Dash were interned) looks really higienized and they use quimiotherapies ans x-rays, so, tecnologically their are about 1890, maybe 1900...
The radio is beginning, and thanks to the University of Equestria (making giant dragons of little wyrms since 47 AH) iΒ΄m sure they will make radios in the next season, and maybe TVΒ΄s
