I like this but I hope someone overthrows the queendom and exiles them all. Maybe one of the males, the son of the late queen, maybe he can possibly change their ways.

In the kingdom, or "Queendom" as it is referred to, males are supposed to be quiet, submissive individuals that are only good for gifting females with cubs. They serve nly to protect the Queendom and sire children. Any outspoken orders -which that is what Kitwana is supposedly doing, presuming he has a right to a bath- are forbidden and punishable. It isn't right, and yeah he's only a child, but it's how they believe.

Why is Dafina such a bitch when it comes to males? Would she be capable of mistreating her own son, if she had one, just for being male?

Yes she would. She did have a son once, who is dead now(she didn't kill him, but eventually I'll get to that part). In the culture of Exiles Pride, it is complete normalcy to treat males that way : the Exiles are ruled by ONLY females, and males are taught to be quiet, submissive and stand by as breeders- and only that, unless the female wants them to love her. Likewise, females are taught they are the dominant species, that males are there for only for battle-training and to assist in making cubs. To speak out, to go against the beliefs and rules(or to specifically ASK a woman for something), is never tolerated- she must speak or offer first. (As a side note, the word 'mates' is never used to refer to each other. The lionesses refer to lions as 'breedets', and lions generally refer to lionesses as 'lady' or another form of higher status.) But, you shall find she is a complete bitch year round, and in the prequel (I'm planning it now) it will be revealed WHY.
