Working on the canon storyline of Emily-Jane Pitchiner / Mother Nature in William Joyce's Guardians of Childhood book series.

In case anyone doesn't know the story, here's a quick recap: Emily-Jane was an adventurous little girl (figure one) then dream pirates attacked her home while her father was away She hid in a pond while her mother jumped to her death (figure 2). Alone, Emily-Jane was collected by Constellation Typhan where trained her in mastering the elements for years (figure 3) while also helping her find her father. In the end, rage consumed her as she realised her father would never come for her (figure 4) and in the end, Typhan sealed her in a shooting star, resulting in the present day where the powerful and mysterious figure (figure 5) before us is the one and only Mother Nature.

Always loving drawing this girl. You can tell I put a lot of work into this one BECAUSE THERE'S SHADING!!!!
