A significantly upgraded version of Sorrel with a torch picture I’ve done earlier.

The reason it exists is actually pretty funny. Basically, some time ago, I stumbled into an online AI tool that allowed you to turn photos of people into anime characters. It was meant to be for photos specifically, but out of curiosity, I decided to try it on some of my artworks – and miraculously, it worked! Among the test subjects was the original torch picture, and I actually kinda liked how it turned out transformed – so I decided to use it as a basis for a full on portrait. That program automatically cropped all photos it was given to just a bust, so it was the only part I painted over. The rest is purely by me.

All in all, I really like how it turned out. I feel it has a certain JRPG flavour to it. Not quite the vibe I'm generally aiming for with this character – but in and of itself, I think it looks pretty neat!
