Phew.Well, that was an adventure! This piece is mainly to test with color some more. I'm trying really hard to understand color theory in independent study. I think I get the general gist of it, but I could be desperate...
Anyway, ABOUT TIME I DID SOME PORTAL ART.
Fun fact about this piece: I used Maya to start it off! Made a 3D environment and the cube then filled it in Photoshop! Maya can be IMMENSELY useful for perspective pictures or just getting a general layout of an illustration. The student version is free, so I suggest some of you sit-in-your-chair-all-day artists go and get Maya if you haven't already. It isn't too hard to learn if you know the basics. MAYA IS MY WORLD.
