Edit December 1st, 2011 - I'm disabling comments because far too many people are taking this *way* too seriously. Also, if you look at the date, I drew this YEARS ago, when Malfoy was still a little evil bastard and not just a spineless one. So since people can't play nice, I'm shutting down comments.I need to get this off my chest. I can't stand fan fics. There are some damn talented writers out there that are wasting their time writing stories they wish that would happen to characters that already exist and are copyright someone else! The ones that get me the worst are the Harry Potter fan fics. Why? Because people take already developed characters that we all know and love, and mangle their personalities. for example: Harry and Draco. Nearly every fan fic people tell me to read (I'll skim over the odd one if someone is insistent enough), all the writers seem to think that Draco has this huge amount of respect and brotherly love for Harry that just seems to be hidden away down there. (Or they end up in bed together...) Same way everyone seems to think that secretly, Sephiroth was in love with Aeris. ......Don't make me hurt you. SO this is my own little reminder to everyone, if Draco could have the heart to kill, he would kill Harry. The seventh book has yet to say whether or not Draco will suddenly show this huge amount of admiration towards Harry, but in the meantime I am drawing it as I see it. He hates him. He does not love him, does not want to be his brother or best friend, he would gladly scream "AVADA CADAVRA!!" in Harry's direction at any time. (*cough* I only THINK I spelled that right....)
And as a side note, I never said that any of the fan fic writers are bad authors, in fact some I have come across I gladly read...I just change the characters names in my head so I don't get mad. Like....Julie Steve and Bob....

Well. There are tons of fics in which Draco really hates Harry, you just have to read the kind of fic that pleases you. I don't like Harry-loving Draco either. But eh. This is an old post, but I only had time to check the slytherin list now. -.- Sorry.
The anatomy looks great, especially Draco's torso. His hand though looks a little weird. Maybe the palm should be a little bigger? Or maybe it's the thumb.. And it kinda looks like he's wearing a blue lipstick. Other than these details, this is real good, drawing and coloring. This is all just my opinion, of course.^^

wow, that's quite the comment. yah when i did his teeth I forgot to fill them in and didn't notice once i slapped the background on...but now that i see it it's going to piss me off. i think i should see if i still have the decompressed file and fix it... hmm...

Very nice picture, great depiction and perfect well put in your wording, I'm a novelist but I dabble in fan fic from time to time just to relieve stress ^^

I'd love to be able to stick to a novel, but instead i wind up writing a few good pages and then get stumped..Haha i should just stick them altogether and see what kind of wacked out story I get. Are your stories posted anywhere? I would like to read them.

Yeah that happenes to me too sometimes I just put it away in a folder and mess with ideas till something just clicks and I realise I know what to do next. Well the beginings are in my gallery but most people don't say anything about them so I don't post more then the first few chapters or such.

Thats good... I dont pay attention to the fan fic...but i have seen cartoons and stuff..and i think its retarded. Personally i think Draco should stay a bad ass...and hate harry till the end. I have my own opinions...and an ending to this in my head...but who knows. Anyways.. Ur welcome.

I agree with you, Draco resents Harry. He's the spineless bastard of a boot-licking father who panders to an dark magician. Harry is the confident, media-darling, hero who receives sympathy and praise for all his actions. He hates him because he's jealous.
enough about the artist's statement on to the art.
The art style you chose is really indicative of a comic book sort of style, which is a good choice for portraying action as you do here. The green "wings" are a nice touch and the battle damage and vague castle top background give the impression of a drawn out battle and leaves the details to the imagination. The coloring is very well done.

No her drawing and statement.. is SO true.. i mean i still read the books and im 20. I love them i mean once u start the whole loooong story... u have to reach the end. And now we finally get to see what is going to happen... i unfortunatly havent been able to read the whole book yet.. BUT i am however in the process of reading it... Im so busy! Anyways yeah... I still love this drawing and the statement... amazing writers are waisting their time writing about an already made character. They need to take their talent to the next level... and write their own stories... cuz i knwo they can. they just dont think they have the ability to make their own characters... and go with it. More power to them! HAve at er story writers... Start making ur own books... I wanna read them!
