Description
As the dry ice descends through Proxima Centauri b' troposphere, it turns into carbon dioxide again as the air gets warmer - or rather less cold. However, the sheer mass of the frozen-out dry ice pushes it rather close to the ground, agitating the atmosphere, producing lightning and immense winds for the duration of the collapse.Other images in this series:
