Been doing portraits for some time, so now I did a landscape instead. Just so you know...SAI in about 5 hrs

Thank you so much. I use a japaneese program called Paint tool SAI, but i think I could've used PS to do this also.

I was so tired of all the grey, muddy, wintery crap I had outside my window, so I had to paint something with summer in it. The ref is from somewhere in UK but the landscape looks a lot like some places around where I live.

When I came across your page and saw this- I sat there just staring at the piece, I had yet clicked on it, just sat looking at the thumbnail and I couldn't help but feel calm, relaxed, at peace, and happy.
It's simple, no houses, no people, just a beautiful scenery, lush green landscapes, a wavy stream, playful hills abound, fluffy clouds and a blue sky.
Now that is a lovely day, a lovely idea.

I'm so glad you liked it. Thank you for the nice comment. I was missing summer so bad. Everything is cold, grey and depressing here at this part of the year so I had to paint something to lift me up.
