Ima cheap-ass so I always rather build it myself than buy it. If everyone was like me, the capitalist system would crash in a week.

If you don't want your subject to look like a deer caught in the headlight of a car, when using flash, use a reflector or a diffuser on your cameras flash. This is how you build one with a zero budget.

(I'm not a pro and i don't expect a result like a pro but you can see the difference my contraption does in the photos on the right. It clearly does more good than harm on your photos.)
