I tried this (check my gallery for a few if you want) but it seemed like i just couldnt get enough light to shoot at a fast enough speed to get the fruit clearly. And when i used a flash it would reflect off the glass too much...

how do you deal with the reflection on the aquarium glass?

Headtrack [2005-05-18 22:05:42 +0000 UTC]

interessiert mich wirklich brennend!

mfg

tfprince In reply to huluvu [2005-01-21 15:07:22 +0000 UTC]

huluvu In reply to tfprince [2005-01-21 15:19:10 +0000 UTC]

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

tfprince In reply to huluvu [2005-01-24 08:14:15 +0000 UTC]

Nice tape job on the second flash haha, it's actually quite brilliant, do you think it'd work with just one flash? Cool idea too, great picture.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

tfprince In reply to simple-nobody [2005-01-08 21:43:51 +0000 UTC]

only one flash works, too. the early photos were made with just one... you only need to photoshop a bit more

thermite5000 [2004-11-07 16:48:29 +0000 UTC]

That is alot more simple of a setup than i expected. Did you just drop the tomatoe yourself? or did you have someone assist? I dunno about you, but i struggle with multitasking.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

tfprince In reply to thermite5000 [2004-11-07 17:00:16 +0000 UTC]

i did everything myself... i used the remote trigger. one hand on the trigger button and in the other hand the object to drop in.
It's the only way to have a precise timing. if someone else triggered the button, then i don't think this would have workt that good...
