How do you get a good reading for a shutter speed? My Pentax k1000 only goes up to 1second and my light meter won't get a reading so I use a seperate one but I can't tell how to take the tint into account. I have no spare glass to put on my light meter :/. Any ideas?

All i know that you have to set it on B mote.
Iam not that into Pentx Cameras. Sry

but u should check if your camera allows long time exposure
upload your pics if u made some

I did it! It's isn't great as I thought because I can take just jpeg and not raw files, so my photos are green and I have to correct them on photoshop, but still good

maybe try black and white
or try it like i did here:

its and HDR and a longtime exposure merged together in photoshop
