in most situations, yes.

Weakness/es of cyborgs
Minor:
- daily maintenance
- constant repairs after constant use
- constant upgrades to keep up in date
Major:
- vulnerability to electromagnetic pulse
- "surprises" that include mind control and a kill switch to "neutralize" subjects wearing the prosthesisΒ

repair; maintainance and upgrades are wellworth the superior skills a cyborg has.
concerning EMP: there is a way to shield machines from emps so that should be no rpoblem
concerning hacking: aslong as it is a closed system and you are not retarded enough to hook it up to bluetooth or the internet you should be fine
so my summary is still true:
regular human < augmented human

Magnetic fields can also be an Achilles's Heel. By hacking I'm referring to being hacked by manufacturers of the product. There's even going to be a question on who's in control: the subject wearing the prosthesis or the prosthesis wearing the subject.Β
Parts of the video even mention the fragile aspect of cybernetic bodies.

P.S. Natural humans might be rendered obsolete.

i have seen a fair share of videos on the toppic. the problem is that the problems of these bodies will probably be outweighd by the future possibilities of technology to protect the wearer. concerning company control over cybernetics: thats what medical laws are for. a good state like sweden, norway, switzerland or germany will have laws to deny manufacturers control of augmented people.
germany in particular has a special organization called "TΓV" that makes sure the strict mechanical regulations for all machines are followed. people have to get ther cars checked and approved by the TΓV for an instance and if abnormeties are detected the vehicle must be fixed or replaced. amusementparks even have to get approved by TΓV to be allowed to open their rides. i am sure the TΓV would also regulate cybernetics so companys can't go and control people.

Wait wait wait
...I've seen this picture somewhere. Isn't that from Concept of Canceled Valve's game???

I wish that were the case, then I can make claim that I worked on something of significance, but alas that isn't so. I assure you that she is of my very own design and any similarities between my art and this Cancelled Valve game is purely coincidental.
However I do take pride in that you feel this looks like a piece of Concept work.
