Good Evening FonteArt. If you don't mind me asking. Β May I ask you permission for me to use this armor on a game? I'm working on a 2D game that is very similar toΒ EnterΒ the Gungeon. Right now I'm working with an artist. to make it. So it not out in concept phase. I don't have much money to pay but what can do is give you credits and 10%Β fromΒ the sales.

Good be a medic in the sense that she has little leg protection for access to greater mobility and that she only has what appears to be sidearms. I deem it believable in that respect.

Don't suppose, but know. Roman legionaries to Royal Commandos. See the connection? Unprotected legs, arms and faces. For such a thing to be quite common all throughout history, there must be good reasons behind it.

Many spots on the leg, when hit, turn to an easy bleed-out death. Additionally, legs are how we move, if not on wheels.
Common things in history aren't always good. Violence and oppression seems pretty common. Just saying.
Bare legs might've been for looks. I can't imagine a single good thing or advantage that comes from a leg injury.

You're completely missing the point. I'm not comparing it to violence and oppression, and the advantage doesn't come from a leg injury. The actual advantage comes from mobility; wearing extra armor weighs and that extra weight can have an effect on your body. Troops are already expected to carry loads of heavy gear and to carry each other when wounded, do you really want them to be wearing extra armor just to be more safe? Lack of leg protection, arm protection and face protection is for mobility, communication and sight. These are extremely important in combat.
