Description
Iron thorns push through skin, I’m part of an installation pieceFlesh and bone, metal and stone, electronics
Wheeled in on a cot, phones for eyes
That never ring
But I see how they look at me; (they’re thinking)
How lonely it must be to slowly die alone
They smile anyway, good at faking it
After all, it’s their job
One day the artist will be able to push a button, and I’ll spin
My speaker-mouth will sing about snow
Only one more push allowed
And I’ll spin into space
My last human thought will not be of you, but of us, together
Sitting in the cold morning, coffee and cigarettes
Back before they began assembling us
One at a time
for departure

Down right depressing! Your job is done here. <3
(I love how you express 'the eyes talk'; in your first paragraph)
I love about most of your pieces,... that the majority of the time I have to read them twice, sometimes three times; as things don't always immediately sink in. For a change; we are forced to think, rather than have it all handed to us.

Pretty awesome. En gros it´s about relationship. And how the individual is tortured in this, though ironically it´s nicely 'wise'. Love this!

your analogies flow, Ron, with both truth and inference.
you're a Walter White without the psychopathologies -
giving in written creation, only taking in same.
with this contact with friends, not truly alone.

I wouldn't want to! And anyway, I just got a camera. For video. I don't do stills anymore. Been there done that with 35mm film when we still had film in wide choices. I like dumbphones.

Me too! All I want my phone to do is send and receive calls. The contacts list is nice, but other than that all this other crap is useless.

I don't need to have internet when I'm riding a bicycle or an electric scooter[standup variety]. And I want a big screen and a rEAl keyboard.
