Wonderful. To me this kind of image means a paradoxical happines and wellbeing. I have always loved rain, even walking out, when all other people go indoors. So, I am kind of all alone, and on my own - and this is the way I somehow want things to be since very early childhood. I'm not shy, but I have always been a loner out of free and authentic choice. So, this image strikes a very personal chord with me. - Who can explain...!

This is an incrediblly well done photomanipulation, very evocative of seclusion in a world where everything isn't done according to plans. The girl with the umbrella seems to be sightseeing and adds a surrealistic twist to an otherwise gloomy scene.

This is very cool. The mood is great. Scary buildings like that remind me of hospitals... I don't have an innate fear of hospitals tho... I think

thanks! i know what you mean about hospitals. i don't FEAR them, but have a strong dislike for them and would prefer not to be in one. the old hospitals and schools of my childhood do haunt, though. i was very sick when i was four... hospitals- bleh!

Aw
My family have been in and out of hospitals all our lives. All three of my sisters and myself have had things wrong with us, auto-immune disfunctions, heart problems etcetera etcetera... anyways, hospitals aren't my favourite place to be, tho. I've been discharged now with no formal diagnosis. ^_^ but it could be worse.

uuu i love this one!
The guy standing into the fog, very mysterious, gives a lot the "lost" sensation.

thanks! maybe the spirit's memory is so strong that she keeps returning to this place. or maybe she's not a spirit at all, but a dreamer whose physical body is hundreds of miles away...

I have always loved abandoned industry buildings. Nice composition!

thanks. it seems to me that over the years, people leave some type of trace behind in the buildings they've worked/lived in that linger long after the building's been abandoned. i'm fascinated by these old buildings.
