Once I put 'colour' instead of 'color' for an English paper cuz' I like spelling it that way... and the teacher corrected the spelling by crossing out the 'U'...

This reminded me of something that happened in English class in my school once. Since we live in a Commenwealth country, we learn spelling the British way. One of my friends gave up in exhasperation because she couldn't get the spelling right and said, "That's it! I'm moving to America!!" I don't really mind how the words are spelt anyway, it's still English.
Anyway, I like your style of drawing them, it's adorable.

You know, I don't know why we Americans spell things differently. I read a book about England that said you guys changed your spelling because you thought that 'u's were cooler or something....but I'm not sure how much truth lies in that.
I remember having a substitute teacher in third grade or something saying that one day, America will convert "color" to "colour" and other spelling differences.
(also, I wonder; on my settings, it marks "colour" as a misspelled word. I wonder if it's just because my location is the US? And on the deviations, it says "favourites", but that's also apparently misspelled when I type it in here. Interesting....)
X3

That's interesting....dA must have weird English spelling rules. Maybe..."Well, since both sides are technically correct...."
That's interesting. :3
(oh, and btw, I think it's REALLY COOL that you're from the UK...sorry, I've always wanted to talk to someone from there...)

Haha...sometimes I find myself spelling "colour," or "behaviour," or things like that, even while taking written notes in class. Yet, even now my computer is underlining them in red, saying "That's not the American way!" I don't know...both are correct. Depends on what comes out. Oh, and I used to write "theatre," but my friends thought me a pompous putz, so I changed it to "theater." *shrug* Do more art like this, and you just might get my life story. I'll make some coffee. *sits down and lights a cigar*
