Cristina Donà is absolutely surprising. This shot was taken during her 2008 summer tour: since she had released a wonderful acoustic CD (Piccola Faccia) a few months before, I was expecting an acoustic concert. And that's the way she started the show. But suddenly, in the middle of the second song, it turned out to be a pop-rock concert, where the arrangements and verve were taken back to the roots of her musical career, with drums and electric guitar playing a first-rank role.Wow, absolutely beyond expectations...

I wasn't sure whether I liked it that much at first glance. Then I closed my eyes, breathed in and out, and opened them again, and at that second look I found the photograph to be amazing.
