I can tell you spent a lotta time on this, but the hard work with the details of the feathers and scales really adds a lotta depth to this pic and the BG colors are interesting too. this guy looks like he'd be worth a lotta exp xD

How did you decide on this background?
Don't take this wrong please, but the background seems distracting. Maybe it's just my affinity for fractals, but the character seems to get lost in how busy the background is. If that makes sense. (sorry)
...also, the blade (horn?) on the foot is impractical, and would impede walking to the extent that the character would appear crippled in gait. Just saying.

"How did you decide on this background?"
The concept i had in mind for the background with the theme of the drawing being "Strength", was that the dragon dude is enduring with his inner and outer strength through confusion and hostile surroundings, so i thought that making the background as colorful and distracting as i could would be a good idea.
