Hi dear Rachel,
It's kinda difficult to forget about you when I have your HTBG poster on my wall... but I refuse to take it down because it makes me smile.
Had my first meeting with Aardman last week, in their headquarters, it was unbelievable and the place has such a good energy about it... The director told me to come back in August with more illustrations and storyboards, and of course I thought of you. Brenda is also coming to Edinburgh at the end of June, and we're meeting before the premiere.
So, please let me know if you want to do some work for 7 Worlds.

I think that this piece actually has some of your brightest colors! The pool reflection really stands out from anything I've seen previously in your work!
Also, are you trying out a new style of brushwork? I can see the strokes are really quite thick!

And yeah, I was trying to make the whole background a little more solid and tight so the brush strokes ended up quite thick and heavy!
