My entry for the Qpixiv10 contest over at Pixiv! The theme was 'sea'. I cut it realllyyy close but I'm glad I finished it on time.I was reading about Victorian bathing machines and thought I just had to do a picture featuring them.
For the uninitiated, bathing machines were mobile changing rooms that were pulled into the sea by a horse or several strong people, so that a Victorian lady or gent could change and go for a swim without anyone seeing them in a state of undress. :Y
Of course I made my version of the bathing machine a bit prettier. XD;

What's the prize for this contest? I've seen entries for it randomly (everywhere except pixix basically lolol) and I have no clue what it's about.

The winning entries get printed in Pixiv's magazine. There's also a prize for 'excellence' which is a Quo card with money on it (kinda like a gift card), since I live overseas I have no use for one, lol. u_u;;
