taught me to do some pushup-esque move where you make like a plank for 10 seconds, then prop yourself on your elbows for 10 seconds, then get back up. she made it look so easy and i literally could not do it! i am so weeeeeeeeaaaak.Related content

I feel your pain. When I was in middle school I could do 50 to a 100 push-ups. Then I hit puberty, grew a few inches, gained a few pounds, and ever since then I've only been able to do 10 to 30 push-ups

Ten seconds! you lucky!!! i didn't know you could even do it for that short...
at this thing i go to we have to do it for 2 minutes, its so wrong. DX
then the next day i go kickboxing which is awful cos by that time my muscles have ripped apart...
i didn't realise how much i excercised!
and pushups fail too, i can only do about 16! *tuttut*
but this comic-like-thing is so cute and the drawings are like... awesome! so i love it! us crazy girlies and our excercising routines!

Very nice! I love the last panel. That's often how I felt in my Yoga class... and with push-ups.
That plank move is dreadful. I tried it a while back and gave up after three days.

In a dance class I once took we had to do minute-planks on our elbows and toes. By the end of the minute I had tears streaming down my face and was screaming the vilest curses I could think of at the instructor - but I held it! (It somewhat helped that we were permitted to rest in the "downward-facing dog" yoga position if we got too tired...)
So yeah. I totally feel your pain.

The sketches are unbelievably cute but remembering the pain leaves a bitter PAIN IN MY MUSCLES! XD I have little hyper fits where i start working out after months of sitting around and then cant move for the next week so yeah.. I feel you

I can do this one for a minute (if I'm understanding it correctly), but more than ten push-ups is too much for me... It's just so humiliating to be reminded of the sorry physical state I'm in every time I try.

Oh jeez.
That plank thing is brutal.
The way I learned it is 3-5 reps of 60 seconds across the span of the workout.
I might have to try it this way though.
