If this wasn't the first time that Steve respawned, then that would explain all the scars. The question now is: Why did Steve forget the previous times he respawned? Well, I assume that will be answered as the mystery unfolds. I think getting Steve's "life force" connected with the Origin mystery raises the stakes, along with trying to find out who Steve has lost.
I wonder if Alex will also be involved in the plot as well.

So Steve remembers going to the Origin, but not how he died. Fascinating... Maybe repression due to trauma? Or maybe the fact that he died from a blow to the head and the Origin couldn't fully heal it on reserve power. Food for thought while we wait for clarification, I guess.

And I just noticed that a third of the mark on Steve's arm has stopped glowing. From the looks of it, I estimate that Steve has two more lives, unless it regenerates over time.

this does make me wonder how long he's been alive if this origin sunk to such a state, or if he's died so many times it's powered down?
i also wonder if he's truly respawned or if the world will be different from when he was last alive
+ it seems like his little circle is decreasing

So is his arm the counter to how many times he can return? If so, it would explain why it's incomplete...

I can see the drastic difference in Steveβs expressions and behavior since respawning
He seems more... unstable
The eyes remind me of Herobrineβs in the way theyβre reddened under the eyes and tired looking

I didn't notice before, but Alex is beefy as heck xD
Also poor Steve. As for the circle I have two theories:
1. every time Steve respawns it takes a bit of the circle energy(?), which would mean he has limited number of respawns. But it wouldn't entirely make sense, because he had a full circle before the Origin adventure and presumably died before that so it shouldn't be full.
2. Circle represents sort of cooldown, he can respawn only when it's full, when it recharged.
Or it might be both to some degree? I guess we'll see soon enough.Β
