Oooh no, it's a shadow person :0 One of the Lost?
Based on the reaction, I'm guessing the majority of the End people have never seen a shadow person/Lost before (or I'm overthinking it). So the Lost might be only something Azira and his circle of people (lol, semi-related pun) know about.

...Yeah that's taking him up on his promise, but it does also give hints to what his deeper motivations for wanting Hero to learn how to activate the Origin might be. Which is nice, because most spoiled brat characters don't get stuff that might make their motivations seem less clear-cut or at least make you wonder about their motives, so that's really nice! Not nice for that poor End dude who just got murdered by this twisted version of the king, but writing wise it's nice.

Rest in pieces. I live for these gorey scenes but it's interesting to see the ties of the shadow people even a bit further than the Origin. Hm... I'd make some in depth comment, but I think I'm gonna wait a few more pages till I see more. **Quietly ponders in the corner.**

Not exactly this way, I didn't imagine the King got turned into a shadow person, but called that he was "sick or dead"

We know nothing of the shadow people... how do they come to be, can they return to their previous selves?
