steve is an amazing person to be able to get hero to calm down and chill/take a break, let's face it. and we know he trusts hero a lot more now from the way he's sitting casually in the last two panels. which really says a lot for how far hero has come. we should all be proud of them both for all this!

Anyone else notice that even Steve's box got a teeny bit glitched out in that second panel? As if Hero being that glitched out also had that much of an effect? Am I overthinking this? Probably

A few things I noticed-
I got this really weird vibe right away, as if Steve is not meeting the Hero he knows, but one from another time, another century.
Second- When Steve laid on the ground, looking up... He didn't look very scared. But, he looked concerned.
This just proves how much details there are in such a 'simple' comic, and just how well you planned this and executed it <3

Okay serious comment done, time for emotional comment.
Ahhhh this is so much omg Hero. My heart ahhhh. The text breaking more and more until it finally clicks smooth. His body glitching more and more until he clicks back together. Pulled down from his mania by Steve. By a friend. Curling up because it hurts it hurts so much he's got so much more power than he's been used to he's back home but he's been alone again and oh god it hurts. IT's overwhelming. And so he lashes out because what else can he do how can he deal with this pain but then friendΒ and he stops he can'tmustn'twon't hurt Steve hurt this friendΒ and so he curls up and oh god it all hurts.

Aww Hero, this must be very hard for you, the sudden return of your powers after so long, being home after so long, having a real friend other than your brother after so long.
Hold on to Steve. Hold onto yourself. It'll be okay. You'll readjust. Your body will reaccept your powers. Just ride it out, give yourself the time you need. And don't forget who you really are.

When I first saw this in my notifications, I was actually really worried.
