How ostentatious. Trust Notch to have a lavish throne like this
(I know his face is censored but we all know itβs him)
Makes sense that they represented the duality of order and chaos, considering what we see of their natures in this.
This does make Heroβs motivations for killing the people who wander into the Origin more clear, but less so for βwhat he wantsβ that the princeling talked about.

Also this whole "New World" stuff means that Steve's name "Arbiter" makes a lot more sense, but at the same time... doesn't that mean Hero's duty is to specifically go out and cause conflict within this new world? Isn't that just a little iffy? The fact that the Origin needs balance in order to function does kind of explain why Hero's role is the way it is, but I find it a little sketchy that Hero's supposed to go out and cause conflict... it's no wonder that people seemed to hate him or be scared of him, even though he had no choice in his mantle.

Also I adore what the Origin used to look like, it was so gorgeous outside! I'm jealous of this Minecraft map... (Also that dude looks like Notch from older comics, this is now Notch to me until proven otherwise.)

I'm still shook by how much Hero was the "carefree" one and Steve was the stick-in-arse one... It's such a strong contrast really
AND I WAS RIGHT! HE MADE THEM ENEMIES!
He made Hero into the force of chaos, and for all of his empty bullcrap about good and evil, people were bound to see it that way!
He made Hero into a scapegoat for people for everything wrong, and Steve a hero to be acclaimed!
