This page had me SPEECHLESS. Hero is just so emotional about this. All that anger has been building up for so long that now that Notch is standing here doing the same thing heβs done for so long Hero just canβt help but pretty much explode and that KILLS me man. And honestly? He has the right to not want to forgive Notch. But he should, because if he just continues to hate him heβs going to end up worse off then if he at least tries to give the guy a chance to fix his mistakes.Β

One of Steve's eyes are fully gold and the other one is about half way. Holy crap I'm getting worried now. Notch, you suck at apologies. Hero, slow down on slapping sense into your brother please because there is Entropy to worry about at the moment. Let's hope one of the characters FINALLY notice Steve's eyes. Also, Maybe instead of fighting their butts off with each other, they'll notice how the whitewashing is spreading and it's starting to spread faster now that she's changing more people.

I have to side with Hero here, that yes Notch may had good intentions but that only mead things turn out bad for others. Hero had a life and had someone he called a daughter but with what decisions Notch made Sam died, And Vile had a city that he loved and lost because of Notch. Now Notch not learning a thing comes back and thinks that if he explains what he's way of thinking that all will be forgiven, then he is gosh darn WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I can be way off with this and can live with that.

The anguish on Hero's face is rare to witness but impactful because of it. Not to mention how honest he is being, especially "I had a daughter." Notch looks genuinely upset about that too, that his "irredeemable" little brother had a daughter that died and yet he refused to even try to comfort him. It's a form of gaslighting, what Notch is doing, and I am sympathetic to Hero because of that.
I wonder what Hero sees in Steve's face, a new chance or the potential for the same old abuser.

I feel like Notch can be redeemed, and he has the potential to be a good person.Β The problem is he's spent his entire life putting on this almighty godly persona, and doesn't actually know how to be a good person and brother, or even recognize his own flaws.Β He's been worshiped by people who don't actually care if he's a good person, just that he's powerful.
He's made terrible mistakes and been praised for them.Β But, he seems to at the very least recognize he made those mistakes.Β If he can stop preaching "it was for the good of the people" and "I had good intentions", maybe he can do something to make up for even a fraction of the pain he's caused.
For now, how about just start with sincerely saying sorry for once?

Notch: Work on your ego and apologies. You can't expect Hero to 'move on' with just this apology thing and no actions, even if the world is kinda in danger of being literally whitewashed.
Hero:Β Work on not killing people immediately. You have every right to be super pissed at Notch, and Vile is gone so you are emotionally compromised, but maybe save the killing until the world has been saved.

On one hand, Hero's right! You can't do all that damage and come back and expect a half-assed, self important apology is gonna cut it. Just because you think you were doing the right thing doesn't mean you were, doesn't make up for the fact that you didn't.Β
But on the other hand, there are more important things to be worrying about than infighting. This sort of thing can be argued later when Entropy is defeated- Right now the tension is high simple because the world is at stake, maybe later they can do this a bit more calmly when they aren't stressed about being defeated.
