Due to her attempts to learn multiple fields of crafting as a child Nesva’s gained some knowledge when it comes to crafting but, she was never able to garner an apprenticeship. As such she has a little experience in various crafting areas but, is a master of none. This skill enables the user to add their custom stat to one craft roll once per day.

    Nesva’s childhood was a relatively happy one, filled with love and comfort; she was born in the city of Kilrim to Mulmonlir and Kastabela Hostegar. Her parents worked together within the tailoring business. Nesva had always found her family's ability to craft fascinating but, sadly she had no talent for it, any of it. Her stitches were too jumbled, her patterns uneven, she couldn’t even keep fabric in tact seemingly always ripping it much to her parent’s dismay. However, the same would not be said for Nesva's eldest sister Gwennar who flourished within the tailoring business, enjoying the tasks given to her by their boss.
    One by one, Nesva watched as her siblings each found their calling, becoming masters in their own right. Her brothers, Branmur and Thurnus became bakers, her other sister Tislinn became a blacksmith...each found their talent and flourished, making their parents proud. But, as time went on Nesva...never found her talent. She tried to bake only to burn scones and implode souffles, she tried blacksmithing only to cause a fire, no matter where she went disaster seemed to follow her. Always she tried to keep positive, to keep her head up failure after failure but, as time went on it got harder to smile, to see the bright side of things. Her parents tried to convince her that it was alright, that she was simply not meant to craft, that perhaps her talents lie elsewhere. Her mother brought up how she had also had a hard time finding out her talent, her path. Kastabela told her daughter of her traveling, of how she wound up visiting the elves and how it was there, among those pompous people did she discover her love for fashion. Seeing the elves and their strange garments her mother felt a desire inside her, a desire to design, to create. Kastabela brought back that desire to Kilrim and the rest is history as it were. Together, her parents suggested she take some time to herself, perhaps visit the humans and see how they lived. Who knows, they said, maybe you’ll find your place among them.
    How right they were...As Nesva traveled, she found herself intrigued by the humans and elves alike, by their different cultures and oddness. She discovered her love for history and for ancient tales, for culture analysis. She returned home shortly after her trips to both cities, a new dwarf with a new purpose in life. She wanted to help the movement for peace, for cooperation between the cities, she wanted to be a part of the decision making process of their city’s government. She wanted to help open her fellow dwarves’ eyes to the value of their differences with the humans and the elves, she wanted to help dispel the prejudice between their races. An idealistic dream but, a dream she wished for nothingless..


Present:

Years later, Nesva finds herself closer and closer to that dream becoming a reality; currently she resides as advisor to Tyri, the leader of the dwarves. She’s still young and idealistic but, Nesva’s heart has always been with Kilrim and the future for its citizens. She’s proud of the strides that have been made but, she knows there’s still more to be done, especially in regards to the dwarves and elves opinions on each other. She hopes to continue to study human and elf culture and perhaps share her culture with the others within the two cities as well.
