Description Part of my most recent journal. This is ~Queen-of-Greyhounds ' character Flying Whippet. She's and insane yellow whippet with little wings, if I remember right. ^.^ I know it's supposed to just be a sketch, but I think it's only right that I add at least a little texture and shading to it.

I love Flying Whippet. She's such a funny character. Check out QG's gallery. She's got some very unique characters. ^.^ I did use a ref because my art always looks better if I do, even if I'm not going for realism.

Thanks. I like the pose too. Dynamic poses=awesome. I'm glad my wings have gotten better. Back in '04 they were atrotious. >.<

You're welcome. ^^ I'm always afraid of doing dynamic poses because I'm afraid my anatomy will be all messed up. oO" But I did try a few a couple images ago...I should start trying again. Wings can be eeevil...I'm still improving on those. lol. I think you did a great job.

But dynamic poses help you improve if you practice them alot. ^.^ I must say you've definately improved since the first trade we did. XD

Yeah, wings take lots of practice. Refs help a lot, too.

Yay! Sweet! I love the pose and I’m happy you put in details. :3 yea, I decided FW should be a girl. When I first created her, she could have either been a boy or girl at any given time but I decided it was too confusing and just made her a girl. >__> She’s basically the physical manifestation of my imagination.....which is confusing enough *eats the pretty picture*

Well, crap. *dashes to fix it* I could've sworn FW was a boy. But I double checked and indeed she's a girl. X( I feel dumb now, ah, well, it's a testiment to how bad my memory is, lol.

Thankyou. ^.^ The hind legs look kinda funny to me, though. I don't know what it is, either. o.O I owe you gift art, I really do. I also want to do my own version of the "random breed" things you've done. I need to work on hanging ears, short legs, and stockier bodies.
