And now for something completely different!

I am an extremely casual Final Fantasy fan, and I could never be called a gamer: I mostly play online flash games or considerably old ones like Metal Slug, Mega Man and Tekken, and I just like staying informed on new developments, listening to video game music, reading the storylines, and just watching my friends play Bioshock Infinite and Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs and giving them weird advice. Although I'm surprisingly good at Injustice: Gods Among Us, that combat system was made for me.

The main thing was, that I never do anime or video game cosplays, like most do in our local group, and they were all pestering me to do one. Once I let slip that I had a katana too, and everyone was like "OMG, do something". And they had a point.

(It is a real, perfectly sharp katana. Why do I have it? Because I adore and do all kinds of martial arts, so why not Japanese fencing? I practice, I have a book and everything. Woe to the unfortunate burglar who tries something stupid *. Secondly, because I can, it's a katana. I just have to stand aside whenever friends enter the room and start going "Woooooow" the second they see it, and enthusiastically say "I know, right?!" occasionally).

So there you have it, Katana -my God, the time they must have spent thinking up the name leaves me in awe- member of the Turks. I don't have blue eyes, deal with it. However, due to the (very good and not made by me) effects, I have an extreme babyface here, but then again Katana is quite young and an animated character, so why not. His sword also doesn't have a blue handle and saya, but I'm not *that* much of a perfectionist. Plus, here it matches the background!

* It should be noted that in reality I'm against armed violence, swords are just cool. However, I have nothing against *unarmed* violence, or severely beating somone with the scabbard or a bokken for my personal safety. Thou shalt not kill; but thou shalt seriously injure and/or send thine enemies to the hosplital if there is no other option.
