You *can* be trained to use it efficiently, but it takes a lot more practice and my book doesn't have it. Anyway, why use it for such a large weapon? (Because, yes, the reverse grip *can* work just fine with a knife). It's mostly for showing off. Now, in a real combat scenario, I wouldn't try it.

But damn, it looks cool. Diagonal cut!
