Description
Day after day, life goes on at Star Station India, where starships come and go, and cargo continually moves. This is a cargo & maintenance bay door located at the end of one of Star Station India's eight primary piers. Powerful atmospheric-containment fields are energized to help retain an internal environment for the crew, while worker vehicles pass through unabated, proceeding to their outlying tasks in the vacuum of space.
An update to my previous "Night Shift" submission. I began playing around with some post render ideas for inserting a few crew elements, all to help give a sense of scale and make things look less sterile. Actually, the whole concept of fully energized environmental-shielding has felt pretty silly without a single visible person in the scene, ever since posting my first versions
I've also added a few other minor details not in the model render, and will probably continue to tweak the image as time allows.

I read your blog post regarding the crew elements. I really like the way that you melded them into the interior/exterior shots. It really adds life into your already fantastic renders. Great job!

Thanks! I tend to carry on a little long in my blogs, but I like to get my points across. Problem is, I probably have too many points.
At least people like the pictures.

I enjoy reading your thoughts. I tend to only work in 2D but your blog gives me ideas and makes me look at my ship's details and designs closer.
