Yeah, that was really weird, but I'm adamant that there was a message behind it, like the first one.
I think it's about developing a sexual orientation (I may have stolen that theory from a YouTube comment). Some people were saying that she was the blue haired girl from the first one, but they look completely different.

She didn't have eyebrows...

That sounds like a stretch, her appearance is fairly consistent with only two designs. But that could still be a theme.

The weird [gender-less] blob thing that she leans on, the lilies (yuri) and apples (sin), the knight (typical fairy tale that little girls dream of) that disappears in the distance, turning that girl into a lily, and watching that guy rip out his heart, and when she goes nuts after seeing that couple (and she says "I love you, I love you, I love you, I really love you" to the lady).

There's more than one theme but I'm pretty sure this is about being gay and going against the dreams she had as a child.

Damn where was this analytical prowess when I was writing my essays?
