Description
Here's the idea: Holding down the super key for long enough will show this window, revealing all the shortcuts of the active window. In this case, the desktop is the active thing and holding down super shows shortcuts that the desktop uses.Related content

The problem with Alt arrow shortcuts is that they conflict with history in Midori, pantheon-files, firefox, etc. and moving objects in Inkscape.

Why would you need to translate a mockup?

what happens is I need to do something like this, for some students in my classes, who installed Elementary OS on their laptops and need explain graphically shortcuts because they are younger than 16 years old. So, I liked how it was what you did, but I have enough time to "build it myself", so, if you could lend me some svg like this, well if you want, no problem at all events

I had the same idea a long time ago. Your mockup is awesome.

The shift key symbol you used could be mistaken for an up arrow.

True. It should be like that but an elongated horizontally button and have the arrow on the right side.

I think it would be even better to just write out "shift". A lot of keyboards don't have an up arrow on the shift key.

Yes, although our implementation should be a bit better since it should work with any apps that use granite.

Oops, misunderstood the concept. I would laugh at a keyboard shortcut sheet for Emacs XD

I realized that too but I must say I'm not that happy. alt+click is a clasic in all Linux distros, so I don't see the point in changing that.
I can live with it but I'd like it more if it was alt+click.

ahhhh so glad I read this, I was bummed because I thought they got rid of that. Didn't realize the hotkey was just moved one key over.

All granite apps with shortcuts should include something like this.

That's the plan. [link]

What do you think about adding a little symbolic gear in the top right that would link to Switchboard?

Not a good idea... this dialog should be only informative.
I think in this: The dialog show up on super key pressed, and hide when you release the button.

You could have both you know... it shows up on pressing the super key, but you can click things on it.

I meant to the keyboard plug to configure shortcuts.

I think everything that gives options to configure elementary (and every OS out there) is a good idea.

Just add it to power menu, like ubuntu

Genius. Though the arrow on the left really gets to my OCD XD
I recall someone from elementary saying they were unsure of how to document shortcuts for users. This'd be perfect.
