"Hold still for a minute, I'll free your hands." Aradia instructed Trish and the blonde gladly complied. The Dark Queen sibling grabbed the wrists of her charge and pulled, struggling against the force of Empusa's spell. She could feel the ethereal chains resisting her grasp but persisted with single minded determination. "Almost.....there!" Aradia roared and gave them a final mighty pull, finally freeing Trish's arms none too soon. "Excellent work! Now let's get started, shall we?" Trish immediately raised her hands and used a weak tethering spell to draw Dahlia toward her, avoiding approaching the dangerous barnacle that was making a meal of Demona as well.

"Well, glad you sorted out your allegiance eventually." Dahlia smiled and didn't begrudge Trish considering she knew Aradia had her under control. The pink Chromatic Damsel was still restrained, but at least she was near protective company. Aradia remained by Trish's side to shield her and Dahlia from anymore Maw clones.

Just beside them, Sunny and Iris were already working on securing Empusa. "Make sure nothing comes out of that portal, I'll get her over to Aradia." Iris ordered as Sunny watched the arcane portal swirl with unease. "Ok, but I can't really do anything about what comes through..." The yellow Chromatic Damsel replied but performed her duty with vigilance. "Damn, this bitch is heavy..." Iris muttered and was hesitant to touch the Aspect of their sworn nemesis, but begrudingly pulled her toward Aradia while Trish was busy securing Dahlia.

"Oh shit, watch out!" Sunny cried out as the maw devouring Expira launched a flash clone at Iris. The clone would melt away once its purpose was completed. She managed to throw Empusa to Aradia before her foot was caught the Maw clone. Sunny rush to try and pull her free only for the Maw clone to leap forward and force them both to the ground. It then wasted no time in devouring them feet first, screams of resistance leaving their full lips. Aradia wanted so badly to intervene, but she had to protect Trish while she was securing Empusa. "Don't forget about us!" Iris shouted while Sunny whimpered next to her. She remembered her previous time in the Aquinas Maw's stomach all too well though they also had the Drifter's damned accord to adhere to as well.

"Fucking gluttons! If she weren't so important I'd rip these things apart..." Aradia snapped but took great pleasure in seeing Empusa's slumped over form leaning against the wall. Her arms and legs were tighly secured just like Trish's had been, leaving her entirely at the group's mercy.

Nearby, nobody came to poor Expira's resuce as she was greedly scarfed down by the Aquinas Maw. Her naked body vanished into its gullet mere moments later to meet a digestive end. Elsewhere in the roof, Lobelia and Karin rushed to help Demona before the Savage Barnacle could digest her whole. Karin was careful in approaching the creature since she had never seen anything like it before while Lobelia immediately reached for her companion. "Please hurry girls! I can feel the stomach acids on my feet." Demona nervously chuckled with a smile on her lips.

Karin crouched and pulled on the Barnacle's spikes while Lobelia tried to pry Demona free. "NNNngh! This thing's got a tight grip!" The light blue Chromatic Damsel growled. "I'm trying to....pull it loose!" Karin pulled put all of her body weight into opening the Barnacle's maw further and succeeded by just an inch, sparking a flicker of hope in Demona. Yet as quickly as hope had been ignited, it was exstinguished by misfortune. At the same time the maw opened, Demona''s body shifted every so slightly and caused Lobelia's grip to slip. "Fuck!" The pink haired woman shouted as she staggered back into peril of her own.

"SHit, I can't hold it anymore!" Karin's own grasp eventually slipped and forced her back once the Savage Barnacle opened wider. The spikes along its lips also began to thrash and threatened to harm her if she didn't back away. "Nonono! Fucking hell!" Demona screamed and looked up at the as she felt herself sink deeper and deeper. She could feel the stomach acid burning at her knees now while closing her eyes and throwing the last of her strength into a futile resistancec. Only her head remained above the lips by that point, rendering rescue only possible for a brief window....
