"Stay put for now, I'll come back for you." Lady Death told Kelyn after short deliberation. Carrying the woman would only hinder her and Dakini was running out of time. Once more the mortal warrior raced across the fog, sword in poised and ready to strike. Lady Death reached the Aspect of her sister unabated and sliced clean through the tentacle and organic growth using her momentum. She then hacked away the remainder of the growth for good measure before dragging Dakini out of the fog.

"I'll freeze the thing holding her so you can rescue her." Gruntilda told Lightning while aiming a raised hand at Black Widow. She recited a small chant that momentarily petrified the growth and its appendage. Though it continued to force the woman to consume more of its prepping substance. "Ok I'll make this quick." Lightning sprinted into the fog next without casing any spells on herself, believing this to be a simple task. She approached Widow with the intent to kick the tentacle free from her mouth, underestimating what could be waiting for her.

While her foot was raised, Lightning felt the ground shift beneath her boot and throw her off balance, revealing another growth directly under her feet. "Oh c'mon! This has to be a joke!" She shouted as she fell butt first into the growth. She felt a tendril catch her hands but thankfully nothing prodded her from the front this time. "Shit shit! Not again!" She cried and found herself sinking deeper and deeper yet again, unable to free herself or cast spells due to her arms being bound. "It's got me again!" Lightning shouted to Lady Death, trying to see where she had gone.

Unfotunately for Lightning, Lady Death was busy slaughtering a few organic growths that had tried to grab Hannya. The two Aspects stood a healthy distance away from the street to share a brief conversation. "She's gone completely mad, Dakini! She's condemned all of us to death and told me directly to my face we're now useless to her. The Lady threw me into a portal before I could even try to ask her what triggered this. The bitch stripped me of my powers and horns too." Hannya's voice was tinged with barely contained rage but Dakini still needed more information. "And what of the rest of us? Did she throw them to the wolves as well?" She asked anxiously. "Empusa was sent after the other group, but she banished Tisiphone and Daki at the same time as me." Hannya revealed the remaining 2 Aspects were in peril somewhere else as well.

While revelations were being told, Kelyn stood awkwardly in the street with nothing to do. Despite having her guard up, she wasn't prepared for a Miniflan to ooze up from the cracks in the asphalt behind her. The mobile slime easily overwhelmed the turncoat and began to devour her buttfirst. "Hey! Greeny! Help me out here!" Kelyn screamed at Gruntilda only for the witch to ignore her due to her abrasive personality. She hadn't been told of Kelyn's importance so she had no reason to waste her mana in rescuing her. The Miniflan gulped down her pedaling legs soon after and set off into the fog in an attempt to escape....

B) Leave them be for the moment, they will have to watch out for themselves while she takes care of business (20% chance for Dakini to be devoured; 20% chance for Hannya to be devoured)

What will Lady Death do after that?

C) Fire a Typhoon at the growths devouring Black Widow and Lightning at close range, Lady Death can free both of them but it could be risky at such close range (Black Widow and Lightning will both be rescued; 40% chance for each of them to be blasted back across the fog)

D) Free Lightning, she's in the most immediate danger judging from the looks of things (90% Chance of Success, Success will rescue Lightning; Failure will result in her being fully devoured)

E) Free Black Widow, she's been trapped in the growth for a good amount of time and could stand to be rescued soon (90% Chance of Success, Success will rescue Black Widow; Failure will result in her remaining trapped)

Next, what will Gruntilda do?

1) Scatter the slime with a stronger spell, Tilda can free Kelyn if she really wants to (-15% Mana; the Miniflan will be killed and Kelyn will be able to run to safety)

2) Freeze the slime with a weak stasis spell, Tilda can stop it for the moment and prevent Kelyn from taking more damage to amuse herself (-5% Mana; the Miniflan will be frozen in place and Kelyn's digestion will be halted for a short time)

3) Use a weak spell to halt Lightning's devouring, Tilda can freeze it just like she did for Black Widow (-5% Mana; Lightning's devouring progress will be frozen for 1 update)

4) Use a strong spell to free Black Widow, banishing the growth will even be a little easier due to it being frozen already (-20% Mana; Black Widow will be rescued)

5) Use a strong spell to free Lightning, Tilda can rescue her easily with the power she has left (-25% Mana; Lightning will be rescued)

6) Expend all of her reamining Mana to rescue everyone and teleport them to safety; It will Exhaust Tilda for as long as she remains out of mana however (Will use all of Gruntilda's remaining mana and Exhaust her; Exhausted characters have +30% chance to be devoured and -15% to success chances)

Got a few choices here but some high numbers. There's even a full out if y'all want to use that. The choice is yours. And if you wanna know why this wasn't a choice before, let's just chalk it up to Gruntilda's finally shaken off the daze of being being tentacled.
