The Gamma was massive now that Kelyn had seen it fully emerge from the fog. It shambled over to her with it bulging gut, Gina's cries still audible from within. "MMmpph! NNNggh!" She was practically pressed against the scientist's face before the Hunter bent down and began to wrap its webbed digits around her shoulders. It pullled but she remained trapped within the barnacle for now, a small comfort that only served to prolong her anxious suffering."Alright, time to try something new. If I was able to combine my powers before, maybe I can focus and strenghten a singular one of them..." Lady Death placed both hands side by side and began to focus power between them, fingers pointed inward at one another. Magical wind began to whirl and twist between her hands, forming into a compressed funnel that only grew in strength. After charging it for several seconds she let unleashed the Cylone on a concentrated point in the center of the street. A Typhoon exploded and launched powerful gusts in all directions. "Everyone get down!" Lady Death warned before impact, allowing everyone that heeded her words to avoid the worst of her blast.
Sangria pulled Anastsia back to the others and nestled together with her, trying to shield all the other unconscious Chromatic Damsels with their combined weight. Dakini was too focused on her own survivla and was blown aside by the wind while the Aquinas Maw was blasted back into the portal. It bore its fang in fury but its limbless body was utterly powerless in this context. It vanished amidst the coalescing arcane energy, transported to parts unknown.
Summer, Brigid, and Raven Hex had retreated as well once the typhoon hit, letting the Aquinas Maw be blown into the air and slammed into a concrete wall for Slight damage. When all was said and done, Lady Death had managed to spare anyone being devoured and even eliminated one of the Aquinas Maws. She didn't know if they had a limit to how many clones they could create, but she had expected to be attacked by now if that was still a concern. One glance at the portal though made her bury her head in her palm. Somehow, Dakini was already trapped in the coils of a Crawler that emerged from the portal. "Oh sister, you really need to stop sending in the help..." Lady Death muttered and simply watched for the moment.
Why?! Why was this happening?!! Dakini's thoughts raced with fury and confusion in tandem, wondering why she was being subjected to such humiliations. She was an Aspect of the great Lady Demon, the next destined All Powerful Ruler of Hell. She believed she possessed a not insignifcant portion of her power yet she can't even escape the abomination that had ambushed her. "MMMMMFFFFF!" It was even forcing the tentacle atop its head into her mouth and into the back of her throat. Its smaller tendrils wrapped around her arms and trapped them firmly in place while its larger appendages carressed her legs and lower body.
She was completely at its mercy and could feel herself being dragged back into the portal. Now she was once again having to rely on Lady Death to be rescued, but an odd thought crossed her mind. For being told she was merely an 'Aspect', Dakini was possessed of fierce individuality and a powerful urge to survive. She had sworn to serve her 'Creator' and further her goals, but where was she now? If she truly cared for her Aspects, she would have rescued her by now. Do I even matter?? This simple question shattered Dakini's resolve as she nearly resigned herself to being the Crawler's plaything...
The remaining Aquinas Maw was annoyed at being constantly foiled and was now out for blood. It exposed its enormous fangs and prepared to charge at Anastasia, Sangria, and all the other unconscious Chromatic Damsels, intent on tearing them to shreds.

Inside its belly, Aerith was startled by a slimy tentacle suddenly whipping around and pushing itself down her throat, so deep she had trouble breathing. "What's happening?" Camilla cried with wide eyes watching Aerith. "Fucked if I know!" Rogue looked at the appendage with disgust and could only imagine what Aerith felt. She cringed once it began pouring a disgusting substance down her throat but only for a brief moment. "MMMphhh....nnngghhh..." Her muffled cries soon gave way to a content moaning that was matched by a lidded gaze straight ahead.
The other two women stared in stunned silence even as the acid continued to burn away at their skin. The new developments hadn't stopped there though. Across the stomach, a portal suddenly opened and caught the attention of Camilla and Rogue. They didn't know what to make of it, but it simply sat there as if awaiting something...

Aquinas Maw: 24% Health
First, what will Lady Death do about the Aquinas Maw?
A) Try to finish it off with a Moderate Blast, she can pour her remaining power into it but it will exhaust her for a short time (90% Chance of Success, Success will kill the Maw, Failure will still inflict Moderate Damage; 30% chance of Lady Death being devoured if roll fails and suffering -50% health loss due to Maw's teeth
B) Rush in and cut it open, she'll conserve a portion of her power and try to finish it at close range (70% Chance of Success, Success will kill the Maw, failure will still inflict Major Damage; 80% chance of Lady Death being devoured if roll fails and suffering -50% health loss due to Maw's teeth)
Next, what will Summer, Brigid, and Raven hex do?
1) Stay where they are and let Lady Death handle everything, they know better than to put themselves in peril at this point (All 3 will remain 100% safe next update)
2) Try to help Dakini before she's spirited away, they still need to interrogate her or let Lady Death make use of her (80% chance of Success, Success will allow them to free Dakini, Failure will result in her being dragged through the portal, 20% chance of Summer being captured regardless, 25% chance of Brigid being captured regardless, 15% chance of Raven hex being captured regardless; Being captured does not use Devouring modifier)
Finally, what will happen with the portal?
3) It spreads and transports Camilla, Aerith, and Rogue out of the stomach to parts unknown (Volos will encounter them in the next area he ventures to when the time comes)
4) It disappears and leaves them behind (Their health will remain static for the moment)
So I realized I goofed and healed Aerith instead of Rogue, but y'all have reached a point without anyone else being devoured by the Aquinas Maw so you earned an opportunity to spare the 3 of them for now. I honestly didn't expect this to happen so I figured I'd reward y'all for your efforts. Lady Death's almost done, just gotta make it through this and see about Gina and Kelyn...
