I build them in paperclay, cast them in resin, then use acrylic paints and pastels to paint them. I use Mr. Super Clear as a fixative. glad you like them!

Thankyou so much, its very helpful. I figured I'd try and make my own since I did sculpture at college. I hated it because we never got to make anything intersting.

It's really soft and fluffy... it's fun to make it look all silly. XD I'll be wefting yarn tonight and sewing it to the wig to give him a dreadlock mohawk. :3

I've been sewing for the dolls(and sewing period) for about three years now... I've been casting and sculpting them for about a year. :3 But then, I was also a sculpture major for a while too.
