Description Been looking at Brom paintings for inspiration for this guy. It's ironic that Brom's been one of my favorite illustrators/costume designers since about 1999 and then he wrote Plucker... which features dolls characters. I just of want to make a custom doll, dress it up like jack and send to him.

Oh man, Plucker is one of my favorite illustrated stories of all time. I would love to see a Jack doll!

Amazing work as always! Sill trying to work on my first bjd though I keep getting a bit unsatisfied with the body and unfortunately Australia does not have paper clay >< *flail*

Did you do the casting yourself with this one?

I have to figure out casting still. Simple molds are easy... but dolls? Haha I will have an army of junk casts I think XD

It is very awesome though and I do love the painting Just acrylics or something else?

thanks! The painting is almost all pastels, actually. I only used acrylics for his lashes and brows.

I have an army of junkcasts, even now. XD The worst is that it'll only be one or two parts that produce junkcasts, so it's not like I could make a couple extra bodies from them! It's like, a huge pile of legs or left forearms. I guess I could make a giant spider.

It takes some practice, but I really enjoy the challenge of mold making!
