Description
Problem Solved

It sounds funny because the God debate is often portrayed as such a profound and insoluble riddle. But if you actually do Google it, you’ll find plenty of articles about untestable hypotheses, anecdotal evidence, Ockham’s Razor, and other useful info about how to evaluate claims, as well as info about evolution, cosmology, particle physics, and other relevant subjects. (I’ve even written a few myself.) Sure, you’ll also find websites like Answers in Genesis, but if you read everything that’s available, you’ll understand why it’s not called Correct Answers in Genesis.

So if anybody asks you why it’s irrational to believe in God, you can just tell them to Google it. And if they accuse you of naively oversimplifying a complex issue, just direct them here.

Examples of useful info that can be found by anyone who is genuinely inquisitive:

You dont know that for sure, did u ever die.. no, so you wouldnt know for sure. and the people that put that stuff on google, well they didnt die either. Those people are just non-believers. Read the book Heaven is For Real then you will know that God is real.

Seriously, not everything on Google is true. If someone put on there that 2+2=5 would you believe it. dont always believe what you read or hear, same thing with rumors.

that too & the book Heaven is for Real. Its a for real story about a now 11 yr old, t the time was three, died on the operating table for abot a minute & he came back talking about what he saw in heaven. He was also on lots of shows & you can look it up on youtube to watch what he says he saw in heaven.
There are similar stories to that too. There are also some people that paint what they sw in heaven or hell too.

As I've said to people here already:
Why is it Christians feel the need to give threats? Yes, someone doesn't believe in God. Does that mean they deserve threats against them saying they're going to burn in the hellish fires? Yes, because that's what God wants you to do. Show loving and caring by giving threats.

I, myself, have good proof of God being real actually :'3
Not just the world you see around you, but my own story. ^^
You should probably read the whole bible and analyze it as well, not just those articles. (:
No offense but the whole "Anti-creationists laugh at creationists" thing is rude,
but all I gotta say is.. creationists laugh at anti-creationists too.
We all have our reasons as to why we believe in things, it really isn't right to
put up things like this just to get people upset or to make them believe differently;
That's like me going "Homosexuals are gross and wrong in their ways- because the Bible says so."
right on DA for the world to see, I may not support homosexuals but I respect them,
I wouldn't do that to any of them, because it's rude that won't make them change their ways.
Not to mention, even my Atheist science teacher said, "You can't prove God is real using science,
but you also cannot disprove God; There is just not enough scientific evidence to do either."
Even though there are true stories on the fact of God being real, but I'm not here to yell and scream about
my beliefs; just to say, it's rude to undermine people's ways and beliefs.
Yes, they're christian. They believe in God. So what?
Yes, this person is homosexual. They don't believe in God. So what?
We should all just keep our rude comments (or pictures in this case) to ourselves, keep our minds open, and
live and let live..

h-irsch In reply to LuckiiNana [2012-06-09 17:34:44 +0000 UTC]

People tell stories saying they have proof God exists. Wait, where is their proof that their story is the truth?

Also, personally, I think God isn't something you can prove or disprove. God may be something humanity doesn't understand at all and possibly far different then any religion has in mind.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LuckiiNana In reply to h-irsch [2012-06-09 17:39:03 +0000 UTC]

I KNOW my story is true- so for me, it doesn't really matter if someone
doesn't believe me or not, you know? o:

Maybe so, that's a different thought. (: !

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

h-irsch In reply to LuckiiNana [2012-06-09 17:44:37 +0000 UTC]

Well, I can't argue against you saying it's not true when I don't know your story. Even as a atheist, people have different beliefs and maybe if humanity was more tolerable, we wouldn't have arguments going back in fourth.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LuckiiNana In reply to h-irsch [2012-06-09 17:48:59 +0000 UTC]

"people have different beliefs and maybe if humanity was more tolerable, we wouldn't have arguments going back in fourth."
Totally agree with you. D:

and I really respect you for capitalizing "God."
It's something that I've noticed, atheists (that I've seen), don't do that;
Not that it bothered me. I think it's just cool that you do anyway. :'3
Sorry, I sound dumb. Just thought I'd share that.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

h-irsch In reply to LuckiiNana [2012-06-09 17:53:01 +0000 UTC]

Nah, it's fine. To be honest, I just wish people were tolerable towards beliefs. I see atheists hate religious people, religious people hate atheists. It's just a two way street in which either can hold the higher ground.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LuckiiNana In reply to h-irsch [2012-06-09 17:59:22 +0000 UTC]

Ah! Well it makes me happy that you don't hate religious people
or else you'd hate me. D: but I agree, all people can be good or bad,
no matter who they are. None of us should judge by a person's beliefs...

Aramiro In reply to LuckiiNana [2012-06-09 16:49:09 +0000 UTC]

So you're trying to say that homosexuals are atheïst? Another flaw in your story is that the bible has been REWRITTEN many times. I want you to think about the fact that people always search for something to believe in and that God may just be a product of humanity's insecurity.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LuckiiNana In reply to Aramiro [2012-06-09 17:02:18 +0000 UTC]

I never said that; but most are, yes, which is why I said, "Yes this person(Notice I said person, not persons) is homosexual. No they don't believe in God."
Doesn't mean I'm saying all homosexuals are. Flaw in your argument,
but also in mine for not being clear enough. My apologies. (:
"that the bible has been REWRITTEN many times," That is actually incorrect,
It hasn't been rewritten, there are different versions to make the wording easier
to understand and It HAS been TRANSLATED into many languages~
I think King James Version is said to be one of the most accurate in wording
from the ancient text though..
Not to sure ~ >^< I'd have to look it up. O:

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

Thorn21 In reply to LuckiiNana [2012-06-09 18:13:47 +0000 UTC]

Actually King James Version, was rewritten for his kingdom to include his laws, and beliefs.

The hard part of believing in the bible is that it's probably been tampered with so many times but we will not know.
The bible would have been translated from it's original language to English as you know. During that, anyone who was translating could have changed various parts of the bible to what they chose. Adam and Eve could have been named something else, names that don't sound like average American names.

And also, If I could ask truthfully. If Adam and Eve were the start of humanity, how are there different skin colours, blood types etc. ?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LuckiiNana In reply to Thorn21 [2012-06-10 03:57:28 +0000 UTC]

I guess. I've never heard that before. o^o

And yet, you dont know that do you?
We dont know if it's been tampered with or not, so
you can't really say it has been~

Good question! Adam was said to be black and Eve
was said to white. Why? Because the first human was made from dirt
( dirt is dark colored ), and Eve came from Adam's rib ( bones are light colored ;
and with this, that's also why men have one less rib then females (: )

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Thorn21 In reply to LuckiiNana [2012-06-10 08:37:24 +0000 UTC]

And you can't really say it hasn't, so how can you really believe and put all your faith in a book that may or may not be completely true to Gods teachings?

Or really? It never did say what skin colour they were in the bible. Adam was made in Gods image, so God is black?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LuckiiNana In reply to Thorn21 [2012-06-10 15:04:53 +0000 UTC]

Because most things in it ARE TRUE. (: I believe by faith that
everything in it is true but they're actually having a lot of findings
on stories in the bible. Like the ark from the Flood (Noah's ark);
The gold chariot wheels in the red sea from the story of Moses and more.
Now you can never be 100% if it'd really from these stories,
but it's quite the coincidence. ~

And what if he is?.. o_o; It doesn't matter what color God is...
The Bible describes all humans as "one blood." (:
I think the point of saying we were made in his image was the fact
that we took his shape and form. ^^ (Which is obviously, human-like.)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Thorn21 In reply to LuckiiNana [2012-06-10 18:30:25 +0000 UTC]

There was no actual proof there was a world flood. I'm pretty sure that's impossible sorry. I also don't believe anyone with any power can split a red sea apart or feed 5000 people from 5 loafs of bread. And scientists have disproved the believe of a virgin birth. The stories aren't actually true
They're more of stories on how to be a better person rather that a history book.

From my dad:
If Adam was Black and Eve was white, the 2 boys would have been mixed race and with them being the only humans where did the sons wives come from? and also if humans started in a place like Africa, can the bible explain how humans were also living in Australia and America, the far away countries, when America was only found in 1492?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LuckiiNana In reply to Thorn21 [2012-06-10 18:49:50 +0000 UTC]

Apparently it isnt, but there isn't a lot of things that are proven too. (:
so you can't really tell me Im wrong if there's no proof, right? I just believe
what I believe, and if I think it's true.. then, you really can't tell me Im wrong. :3
And it's not their power, it was God's. ~
I agree with that, but that's it, the Bible has history in it but it is about being
a better person! ^^

Abel was killed by Cain before he married. It is believed that Cain married
one of his sisters. This was allowed because it was before God commanded
that people should not have relations with siblings.
and Im sorry. Im not really understanding the question D:
Uhm... Scientists have traced back first human life in Africa, and there
was a super continent called Pangaea.
Again, I don't really understand that question to much. xD;

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Thorn21 In reply to LuckiiNana [2012-06-10 19:27:22 +0000 UTC]

I can't find here where Eve had a girl. It only says 2 boys [link]

He says he was trying to say, with Adam and Eve, the first humans, dropped on 1 country how comes there were other humans on countries further away that date back further than Adam and Eve? Like there were humans living in American before Columbus discovered it in 1492 thus no way of saying he created civilization as soon as he got there.

LuckiiNana In reply to Thorn21 [2012-06-10 19:44:14 +0000 UTC]

(Genesis 5:4) "The days of Adam after he fathered Seth were 800 years; and he had other sons and daughters." :3

Well with Pangaea, from there, they probably dispersed from the area of Africa to the Americas (: ~

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Thorn21 In reply to LuckiiNana [2012-06-11 10:37:42 +0000 UTC]

How did he get a wife before Eve bore daughters?

(Genesis 4:17) "And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch."
Same with Enoch, Irad, Mehujael, Methusael and Lamech. They somehow had wives before 5:4 when Eve had daughters.

I have talked to homophobes on this site that were better educated with the bible. They were able to back up their facts with evidence from the internet or the bible and not sound like it was something they thought of from the top of their head.

I do not need to know you to see you're not very well read in this.
