Soooo I may or may not be working on a dating sim. It will take FAR MORE work than I am willing to devote to it, but the idea is fun to play with.Now with names!
Lily, the main character. Recently lost her parents, and has started attending the local girls' boarding school. Very bland and boring, since she's really just an avatar.

This actually inspired me to base a dating sim off of Mage the Awakening. I don't know why, but I created at least 7 different romantic options, some of which I fleshed out quite a bit. Weird, but fun.

Seriously, I love the idea. (Wish there was a Yandere character too but oh well.) But game-making programs take up so much time. THEY EAT YOUR LIFE! (More of MY free time than I'd like to admit goes into RPG Maker VX nowadays... O_o;; )
But if you are interested in messing around a little, I'd recommend RenPy . It's free and pretty user-friendly. That said, however, it still needs you to give it assets (Sprites, Backgrounds, music etc.) and, of course, a large game script. A little working knowledge of how computer code works DOES help, but isn't really necessary. It even comes with a pretty nice Visual Novel that functions as the Tutorial.

This project appears to be pure fluff so far. No room for the crazy. But maybe next time. XP
I do not know NEARLY enough about compys to actually make a game. Maybe like a choose-your-own-adventure type story. But I doubt it. It is just fun to draw.

I meant that if you ever DID want to produce this I could give you a rundown of the computer programming you'd need. Things like explaining how basic code worked and answering your questions.
It wouldn't be anything you couldn't find in FAQs around the web. But sometimes it helps to talk to someone directly, so if you needed that, I'd do my best to provide.

BEWBS. Because, if you've seen ANY dating sims, all the MAIN female characters have nice racks. Otherwise, it's pretty clear they aren't important. If they're a main character and lack the rack and aren't male, then they're either the antagonist, or have a super weird hair style/color/all of the above, or C. none of the above and you can't end up with that character.
I haven't played any real true-blooded dating sims, but this is the way they work-I know this much.

Well, I have a lot of Dating Sim Intros on Stepmania...(Cause the intro songs tend to be cute and really fun to listen to. Jingle Bell for Santa and Happy My Life Thank You For Everything are fun songs, and go with Circus Disk dating sims, I think.)
...Paimega Rock. It's for a dating sim called Paimega. The first line is 'A B C D *DRUM* Lets go, A B C D *drum* Yatta!'(I believe. I'm guessing.) It becomes clear in the video they're talking about the racks of the main characters, at one point in the video, a male teacher looking at four main characters and a teacher and glossing over the ONE flat girl for her MUCH bustier classmates and teacher. (Granted...A-flat girl, B, C, D...not so flat girls.) WOOTS!!!
I totally actually want a dating sim. But...the good ones these days are on the DS, and I don't have one. It also means I KNOW NOTHING OF PHEONIX WRIGHT AND HAVE NEVER PLAYED ANY OF THE PW GAMES.
