Sorry for the lack of pics and the lack of talk on this one pic. This is pretty much just pose practice. It's Xit about ready to smack my eclipes icon... Since I've got a subscription now, I'm actually thinking of including it as a journal picture(Some of you know by now just how much drawing Xit makes me smile.)Also, yeah- X has claws; I just don't include them in drawings unless he's really exposing them. What ELSE is he going to use to climb buildings and fight off the spirits of the dead with?

I know, I've heard about that. Actually I get two possible thoughts as to what was his inspiration: Pokemon and Bone.
Now Pokemon gets me mad, cause it's like nobody can come up with something that doesn't look like anything ever seen anymore without getting it considered Pokemon. Bone I like a lot because it's so cool and it actually flatters me...
Truth be told, Xit's biggest inspiration are the little cartoon Nerds in Nerds candies. LOL.

i kinda wanna get the bone series in color though, it makes me mad because it came out right after i bought the entire series in one volume.
oh yeah i had some trouble with pokemon too, back when it was getting popular here in the US each time i drew an anime-styled character, everyone tells me to stop drawing pokemon... and im like... not all anime is pokemon, noob. and yeah i agree, the new pokemon are getting wierder and weirder , the only ones i appreciate from this new generation are the starters, everything else is just getting absurd. but the first-generation pokemon will still be the best of the bunch.

yeah, they're awesome, charmander was my favorite of the first-gen starters too, i never played through ruby, but i think torchic's final evolution was cool. i think mudkip's final evolution was just fugly. lol

You got a good point on the claw department, here are some of my ideas
A) He's a big fan of Dr. Claww from Inspecter Gadget
B) He needs to climb stone blocks on gothic archetecture
C) Cause it looks good on him
D) He can have manicure insurance because instead of clippers, they need to use a stone cutter on his claws
