Aloepaw had just found one of the most important evidence in the investigation; the height of the cat who murdered Adderstorm. Now Aloepaw knew what she had to do next. She would go to the Skinner. Everyone guessed that Skinner was the killer and maybe this was how she would prove it. She would try and see if the Skinner's height was similar to the height which the Adderstorm's auma had been sucked into. Though it was a risky thing to do considering all the things she had done to the cats who had confronted her but the young apprentice was prepared to do anything for Safe Haven, even if it meant dying while trying to convict the killer. At least if she died, the others would know since they weren't technically alone. There were a few cats around so Skinner would not get away with her murder so easily.

Aloe approached the Skinner, a little wary at first but finally she toughened up. "Hello, Skinner" she greeted through a smile despite the fact that it took everything in her to keep herself from letting out a snarl. She had to be friendly to the Skinner. She wouldn't talk about the murders to her, she just needed to get to Skinner close enough to determine her height. "We never met so I thought I would introduce myself since you're staying in Safe Haven now." Probably not for long, she thought.
"I'm Aloepaw. And it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

The Skinner turns towards you, looking amused. "Don't play the innocent apprentice with me," she says, her tail twitching ever so slightly. You can't help but feel like a piece of prey that's being stalked, even though she's making no outwardly aggressive move towards you. The scent of blood and ash clings to her pelt--the remnants of the dozens, perhaps hundreds, of lives she has ended.

"I know you suspect me. Are you expecting a confession?" Her eyes gleam.

Checking with your height, you know that the height of the auma trail you found was exactly the height of this cat's face. Probably right around the area of her mouth.

The fur on the apprentice's tail prickled as the Skinner spoke. Aloepaw was rather surprised by the feeling she got from talking with the Skinner and she wrinkled her nose slightly as the scent of blood pricked her nose.

"Perhaps you're right. I do suspect you," Aloepaw spoke bravely though her tone was polite. "But no, I don't expect a confession from you because what I do know is that you're smarter than to give in so easily."

"But I merely came here to converse with you, if you don't mind," she bowed her head slightly as to not seem forceful. "I came here to see how you're doing in all this commotion. You don't seem the least bit agitated by the accusations."

Aloepaw smiled proudly to herself. She had found the auma thief.

"I'm not," the Skinner said, looking rather confident. "Safe Haven is full of fools and cowards. They will not make a conviction before hell rains down on them. Instead, you will all dither in front of the bodies, unprepared, trying to find solid proof." She chortles. "You will wait for fate to scream who did it. This will slow you. I wish you luck, little apprentice." She says the words as though they were an insult, and she turns from you, walking off.

"Well, wasn't she lovely?" Aloepaw muttered sarcastically as she turned around and walked away from where she had been talking to the Skinner. She probably would've chased after the Skinner for she was curious to get to know the pelt-wearing Skinner's gand leader. She wanted to know what went on inside the mind of a murderer. But it was likely no use, Skinner would just turn her away and Aloepaw had gotten what she came for. Lucky for me, Skinner I already found the killer. she laughed inwardly. This had never happened before; Aloepaw laughing at the impending doom of others.

But she liked it.

dum dum dum... omg my baby is turning evil. nah, she just hates the Skinner that much. Anyways, Aloepaw found the cat that sucked the auma of the 6 cats and she's pretty happy about it.
