Have you ever wondered what the blocks would like like if they were in the real world?
...as a fan of Minecraft, I made these realistic Minecraft blocks...

They are for decorative use, and are not toys... they also have a bit of weight to them.

- Made from hard wood.

- Covered in a modelling paste

- Painted with Acrylic

- Diamond Squares added...

- They are 44mm x 44mm x 44mm cubic. (approx, 2 inches.)

I like it, but I feel like it could be better. The diamonds don't really look like they're sunk into the stone - having them stick out at odd angles instead of just laying them flat might help with that. Maybe you could cut a stone, if that's possible? Or perhaps smash one with a hammer.

Also, the texture on the stone looks more like poured cement, really... if you were to cover it in small stones (for instance, whatever you used for your grass block, only in shades of grey), that would be much more effective, I think.

cut a real stone? Do you have any idea the sort of power tool you'd need! lol. Aint gonna happen!

Yeh I'll do the next one set in, and I thought about the textured gravel... but i'm not sure how it would look... I'll give it a try.

No, I'm saying cut the diamonds! Not an actual stone, of course not. If you had a hacksaw or dremel though, you could easily cut through what I'm guessing is plastic, and make them look more ragged and natural-looking.
