I've somewhat improved my.. err... "starrification" technique since I made the first one, which happened to also be a recolour of a Luna Salute vector to use the colours introduced in Luna Eclipsed. Since then I fiddled with giving various ponies "starry" manes and tails, some of which have ended up as uploads (nyx, celestia filly, luna filly) and others which ended up in wallpapers (Luna on a cloud, Celestia, Poofy-haired twilight sparkle) and some haven't been used for anything (Pinkie pie, fluttershy, a few others). Decided to use the later technique on this one to try to improve it.

I'm not sure I like the "outer glow", myself, particularly since it doesn't follow the mane/tail but rather the entire outline.

EDIT: changed glow to follow mane/tail rather than entire outline.
