Description
based off of the Nyx Vector here: [link]Unlike the "Nightmare moon Filly" I made, (and mistitled as Nyx) which was based off of a Luna Filly vector. For this one, I basically just added the starry hair effect.
tweak: made the stars more visible. Perhaps too visible.
edit: added starry effect to the outlines within her mane and tail. Also added a bit of a glow effect to the outlines.

I guess I'd better explain the whole 'round-pupil' issue on this one so that people don't get confused. First, as I stated in the original, it is my own custom variation of Nyx, one that was requested by someone on an MLP message board. That is also why her mane is a bit longer in the back. Second, while I neglected to put the cutie mark in there (because I suck at cutie marks) I might almost see this as a post-end-story version of Nyx. In the same logic that Nightmare Moon had dragon eyes because of her dark powers, Nyx had her dark powers taken away at the end of the story. The author never made any official statement on how her eyes looked after, but some might argue that her eyes might have become normal. Either way, I made a Dragon-Eyed version [link]
Anyway, this is just a fan-piece. Don't try reading too much into whether or not the depiction is accurate. This is simply how I chose to make it, nothing more.

The only problem with fan-pieces and OC character art is there is always somebody willing to point out "mistakes", no matter how many disclaimers are added...
Also, I think I made a similar tweak to your Dragon-Eyed version, but didn't upload it for some reason. I did use it in a wallpaper, though. [link]
I don't even know if the "starry" effect would really suit the character- I just think it looks cool, heh.

In regards to the whole starry thing, it usually does go good if there are no lines in the mane itself, and perhaps a wavy effect. Plus, the stars could be just a teensy bit brighter. Aside from that though, I do agree that it makes the character look kinda neat.

Funny you should mention that the stars could be brighter, I was thinking the same thing looking at it yesterday, and played around with it some.

But she seems to have round pupils in that one. Either way, being that I don't read fanfics, beyond the cool (IMO) starry mane/tail effect I don't think I'd want to change much from an existing vector, which presumably is from somebody who has read it.

The vector I based it off is titled "Nyx - No Glasses, Round Pupils" Which pretty much covers all your concerns. Except for the whites of the eyes thing. I defer that to the person who created the original vector. I 👍: 0 ⏩: 1
