Description This is a 6x9 leather bound journal with handmade decorative metal clasps and centerpiece. This one has a five cord spine and natural parchment for the text block. Over 240 pages and handmade marbled paper for the end sheets. Simple line tooling and silk head bands.

Haha, for real though, you did such amazing work here. Bookbinding is such a cool art, I've always wanted to do it myself. I mean how cool is it to make your own sketchbooks and journals? Answer: it's cool.

this is gorgeous; where do you get the cardboard for the cover? I got together everything I needed for bookbinding, but I couldn't find the right kind for the cover.

Ok so either you use the typical binder board or... you can make it more sturdy and use 1/8th in. mat board from the framing shops. I use this more often because it is mor sturdy.
